Better because of the introduction of the MMC but also I’m already so sick of hearing/reading “giants teeth”. Is that the only curse in this whole universe?

Chapter 6 and its reading very YA in a not great way so far. Will hold out hope but so far I’m not impressed ☹️

Man rereading this one reminds me how much I hate the FMC from the first one 😂 she forced the FMC from this (her younger sister) to be so naive because she was so overprotective.

If there’s one thing I hate it’s a bitch who isn’t gonna tell the father she’s pregnant. Can’t be an advocate for being independent if you’re going to take other people’s choices away from them. Ready to rage.

Somehow she’s even more annoying. You’d expect some character development/growth but no. I think she’s actually regressing. It’s the same argument over and over.

I love the best friend and I hate the FMC’s stubbornness. Girl Bo is not your ex, pull yourself together and stop putting this expectations on him.

This book is really good but I’m also so very annoyed with the FMC for pushing away the MMC because c’mooooon the tension the chemistry???? It’s all so good just give in you dork.

Disappointment round 2 in this Christmas series 🙄 can we develop characters instead of having 30% of the book be smut?

This FMC has been bugging me the whole book. I feel for her and what she’s been through but I’m over a people pleaser who cleans up everyone else’s messes. She keeps putting herself at risk instead and I’m OVER it.

Ch 19 and I wanna smack her upside the head. You looked past literally EVERYTHING else he did but this one thing is your breaking point? Dumbass. You already accepted his craziness gorlypop, can’t take it back.

Miss girl has literally been kink shaming herself this whole book and I hate it. Get over your own internalized misogyny. Go to therapy. Get over yourself and have the type of sex that you’re actually into 🙄

Ch 12. Hate everyone in this book besides Nate. But Nate has had maybe 2 pages of screen time so he has plenty of time to disappoint me.
FMC is delusional and in denial and dumb.
MMC is a literal jackass that I want to nut punch.
Other MMC is a playboy golden retriever who doesn’t suck entirely but is still annoying.

Ch 32 and this girl and I are finally having the same thoughts. Cursing her stupidity.

This book is a fever dream that I wish I could forget as I’m reading it

Ch 24. The most rational and least annoying thing this girl has said is that the MMC has known her for like a minute. Ch 24 and it’s only been like.. 5 days. Suffering through this out of spite now honestly.

Chapter 15 and I want to smack her upside the head. She’s dumb and kind of mean and a bit holier than though while also being self deprecating. Girl take responsibility for some of your own actions 🙄

Okay I’m only on chapter 5 but I don’t like this FMC already. She’s very annoying. Why didn’t she just google wtf to wear to the basketball game??? She’s somehow both super independent and also a doormat - it’s just kind of inconsistent

It feels like it’s skipping in time a bit too much but the one thing that’s bugged me about Jillian’s most recent books is the over use of the term “my system”. I wish it would just say my body or my alpha/omega instincts. My system is just weird being the default.

This is so bad. The potential was all there but Jesus I can actually only laugh out loud at how stupid this ending is.

This FMC is a really big pushover and it’s driving me nuts. Her relationship with her parents is super annoying, her internal monologue goes on about being a grown up and wanting to be respected but she refuses to push against them or the antagonist Katrina and it’s suuuuper dumb. It was fine in the beginning but I’m over it.

Writing is good and the story is too but I’m already bothered by all the secrets being kept. I know so many problems would be solved if people would quit keeping secrets and martyring themselves for others.

I’m just really sick of the FMC trying to force stuff that’s so obviously not there. She’s whiny as heck and drives me nuts. The psychic literally said it’ll happen once you’re open to it and instead this bitch is holding on to shit with a death grip.
