This latest ARC is not at all what I was expecting at all… but I’m learning a lot, and there’s some humor sprinkled in as well. It even mentioned my favorite nonfiction title of 2035: “Everything is Tuberculosis” by John Green!

This book started off so peaceful, relaxing yet interesting… now it’s intense. I enjoy the way it weaves between the present-day of the narrator and his recollections of life leading to that point — and my favorite parts are definitely the retelling of his life to that point. The author has made that more interesting than near-future space travel, but not for lack of available interest in the latter!

This story has really picked up the pace… I can feel the ending rapidly approaching!

Two thirds of the way through the book, and the awesome-yet-mellow storytelling just erupted into excitement. This book is great!

I can’t explain why I’m enjoying this book, seeing as not much is happening overall. I suppose, in a way, that could be some of the appeal? It’s calm, thoughtful, intimate.

While this isn’t nearly as action-packed as my recent reads, I am enjoying it so much! The author really catches interest and attention, and the slow-burn of the suspenseful mystery works really well with the interesting events happening along the way.

The story of the wastelands really captures my imagination, and I don’t want to put the book down.

This is very different than anything I’ve read before, and not what I was expecting. I’m intrigued, waiting for hidden knowledge to leap off the page…
