i feel like i’ve read this before but i haven’t?

reading this after spending time in and around the east village in nyc makes if feel 10x more real, almost like i’m a fly on the wall

it’s really not that good

every chapter feels like it’s been a different summer (lowkey probably has but i am still lost)

i can’t tell if all these events are happening in the same summer because belly keeps bringing up shit from when she was a preteen 😵‍💫

world cup is this week and i’m officially getting back into consuming mexican media

now why my high school job being mentioned by name and address… 🤨

started listening at work until my manager interrupted me 🫩

this shit is lowkey predictable but like i don’t mind too much

straight to the point in the first 30% okay purr

aaaaaayeeeee we’re moving along!!!

picking up a new book again to hopefully get out of this reading slump I'm in 🫩 got the audiobook version so i don't have to look at ink on a page

been waiting for this to go on sale every since i saw it in my recommendations and i finally snagged it for $3 🤩

not gonna lie this shit is still boring! idc about the football, idc that the guys eats six meals a day, idc that they gotta mention his size every other page. like i get it, MOVE ON 🫩

lowkey hate this world building shit because why is this DRAGGING ON

got this on sale for $2 so a win is a win

back to reading this after a long break. i can’t stand that there’s no separation between what is spoken dialogue and what is first person thoughts, my god!

back to sotr for a bit! i got too greedy with the romcom genre

talking about, he imprinted on me. let’s be so serious because this is not twilight girl. 😭 also the vocabulary is starting to get bad again. just something about a few phrases that i’m like, i know the author/editor picked up a thesaurus and said PERFECT! we’re adding this word 😍

picked this up again. it got slightly better before being bad once more

took that second book that just came out off my tbr list because this just sucks

i want to dnf this but i already paid 🫩

it’s not looking good… this book feels like an older person wrote a romance novel about a couple in their late 40s but changed the ages to late 20s last minute and added dated pop culture references that wouldn’t even make sense to said age group.

started reading this book yesterday. i have seen it in my recommendations after reading every summer after by carley fortune, but the title threw me off because i dislike taylor swift and it seems to be a reference. anyways, i found it on sale on apple books for $3 and now here i am.

read a good chunk while traveling, had to stop because this about the point where the games were starting and i was not about to be stressed 😵‍💫

having so many wow moments connecting things to the older books

starting reading during jury duty 😛
