Rereading this book for AAPI 2024, and hoping to make a video about consumer goods from China. But if you happen to see this little update on your page—please stop buying products from China when you are able to! Really think about every object you pick up to purchase—is it a want or a need? Other humans and our planet rely on our conscientiousness!

Sneaking in a reread to compare to the movie tomorrow!

Had to pause the audiobook 16 minutes in just to share, but holy crap! I’m not one of the people still under the impression that Paris Hilton is a dumb blonde caricature, but wow. She is more relatable and insightful than I ever could have guessed! Can’t wait to keep reading!

I was raised Christian but my spiritual life has since evolved away from the hate that is so often preached in American Christian churches—I know not every church or Christian espouses these views but I have had a hard time reconciling them with my personal experiences. Giving this book a chance despite not identifying this way anymore because I’ve heard lots of good things, we’ll see how it goes!

Holy shit this is boring. Bringing myself to finish this book proves difficult every time I pick it up. I don’t trust any of y’all after how many 5 star reviews y’all gave this 😂
