Actually reading the novel this time around instead of listening to the audiobook, which I absolutely loved.

Let's see if I enjoy this more now than I did when I was younger...

My mom got this for Christmas. She refuses to read it and put it on my bedside table. I can already tell I'm going to hate it lol...

Flying through this one. Christie is always a delight to read.

I am so not the audience for this book.

I hate everything about this novel. What a waste of time.

I'm hoping it'll pay off once Simon goes back in time but j e s u s. This is the most overwritten novel I've read in ages.

It's actually annoying how good this book is. If this keeps up, I'm going to have to buy it.

I'm listening to the audiobook version of this and I already know I'm going to have to buy the book. It's that good.

Hoping this improves. The prose comes across as juvenile which is a surprise seeing as this author also wrote Mexican Gothic...

This better have a good ending because I am enjoying this far more than I thought I would.

Decided to reread this on a whim and so far I am enjoying it more than my 17 year old self did.

Yeah, if the world was obliterated this would hurt my heart too.

Okay, a charming protagonist can only do so much for a book. I almost would've preferred a "yeah, it was ghosts" explanation because that would be less stupid than the actual answer.

The plot moves at a snail's pace but Noemi is such a charming protagonist that you almost don't notice.

This book is like a crazy soap opera and TJR is clearly aware of this lol. (Also I need to read Carrie Soto is Back because she is hysterical).

This one isn't grabbing me the way EH or DJ did. As one of the more irritating of Evelyn's seven husbands, I could do with less of young Mick Riva in favor of learning more about his children.

This book is equal parts interesting and annoying...

The audiobook for this is so good oh my lord.
