After the disappointment that Great, Big, Beautiful Life was I had to go back to a five-star classic and, thank Gods, it remains a five-star classic. Might go for a full Emily Henry bibliography re-read.

When I was changing the status from ‘want to read’ to ‘currently reading’ the GR page sort of jumped and I accidentally rated the book 5*. Which is not unlikely, but I think I’d like to read it first.

I have the original edition and… I am glad. This one has many more photos. All of them printed in such potato quality I sometimes don’t know whether I am even looking at a person or a piece of equipment or modern art. But this book never ages. And the redesign is perfect. (Except… nobody noticed the quality of the photos? They’re not grainy. They’re hardly photos.)

Right. Um. It has to be done. Let’s hope I remember everything wrong.
