This book is so dense! like a loaf of rye bread for your brain to chew on.

I'm nearly finished but I might have to take a break from this one, the tolkein fanfic world-building, identikit female characters and Inspector gadget-esque villain are beginning to wear on me. I already have the next in the series and am reliably informed it's an improvement so I will push on but i'm definitely flagging at this point.
