I am 1/3 of the way through the book and am just plain bored. This has been well received by many of my Goodreads friends who enjoy the same type of books as I do. I may try another book in the series but am calling it quits on this one.

I am going to continue with the book, but it is not grabbing me the way some of my recent mysteries have.

David is a pig.

Usually, I don't like children in a book. BUT boy do I like Petunia.

I am really enjoying this book. At the start of the suffragette movement with good characters. Mystery and intrigue. I liked the prequel.

I like the way the story is starting but Braden has fallen out of favor with me so it will be tough to win me back. Last book in the package that I bought.

Really surprised that there are no reviews on this book Spencer has a big following and I thought she used ARC readers. Any ole way here I go at 2% I can tell the duke is on the spectrum.

Just not in the mood. I have nothing good or bad to say about the book as I didn't get that far into it.

I am enjoying the writing. Definitely getting a Heyer vibe.

This book is not for everyone. BUT if you remember computer games in the early 80's.this is a book for you. I started playing games on the TI and switched to the commadore 128(?) the graphics were stick figures when they first came out. I would copy code out of a magazine for games.

I am an absolute fan of working military or police dogs.

When listening to the audio book and Mexican drug lords sound like Russian Mobsters.

I am enjoying the second book. Police procedurals not usually my favorite but this one is good. I am listening to the audio and like the reader for everyone but the heroine (that one is just a miss for me-you may like it)

LOL First chapter done. NOT a gripping one.

I do have to say I am enjoying this quite a bit.

Just finished the first chapter and it sets up the need to move to the country and the characters back story.

Just got the book again from the library time ran out before I could finish it.

I am a sucker for a wounded soldier. Give me a (formerly handsome-now a beast....but not really) This is my catnip. The only downside is I have is the similarity to other books of beauty and the beast I have read.

Easy to enjoy while running errands.

Need to move the story along we are almost halfway through.

My favorite type of book. Victorian suffragette spy with a romance. A bit heavy handed at times but still enjoying it.

Listening to the audio. Really enjoying the storyline. Not too complicated so easy to do chores and follow

Story has picked up steam.

I had really enjoyed this series. BUT the last few books have not really hit the spot for me. This volume feels formulaic. A Lord is murdered, and Lord Devlin investigates the case by asking everyone remotely concerned questions. No real leads of hints. I am finding the plot a bit slow going.

Finding it difficult to care about the victim. Rather tepid on the book so far.

Really enjoying it

I do enjoy a good serial killer book. Still laying out the cases and investigating.

I don't know why I gave this 2* definitely deserves more. BUT the plot is crawling along.

Is the sister and her companion a "MacGuffin" or just put there to annoy me.
