Listening to the audio and enjoying the reader. I don't know why but my reading this summer has been very secondary to everything else. Nothing has really grabbed me and would not let me put it down.

Listening to the book on audio from Hoopla. Kirsten Potter is doing a brilliant job. The book deals with hard subject matter like child prostitution, betrayal and war. The 4 book I have read in the series. Enjoying it very much (even though it has a dual timeline).

I am already skipping chapters. I really wanted to love it. Most have. BUT it feels preachy. Not in the mood

McMahon does an excellent job with the voices

Listening to Chapter 6 and am still enchanted by Kobna Holdbrook-Smith narrating. I have read others say this is one of the best of the series so far and I am in agreement with that.

Nicely done. Good twist.

Enjoyable book. Just got the back story about Eleanor. It was in keeping with the book rather "expected".

Listening to the audio version that I own. Reader is very good. Laying out the backgrounds.

Different style of writing than I am used to. Just finished part 2. Reminds me of an older style of writing.

I enjoyed part 1, Part 2 not grabbing me.

Very enjoyable writing. BUT it has the one thing I hate and that is time line jumping.

Only on Chapter 3. I enjoy the male reader. He did the last book also. Davina Porter is still my favorite.

Early in the story. But I have enjoyed the other books enough that I bought this one.

What a fun book. So far really enjoying it. PLUS I have ridden bus 14 when we were in London last year. My one claim to fame.

I am listening to the audible when running errands. If you are following % of the book it looks like I am a shut in lol. It is good but not grabbing me and never letting go kind of good.

I know better than to do it....find a book that I am enjoying but have another library book with a shorter due date. It has been harder getting back into the spirit. Bad Merry don't do this!

I don't see me finishing this book. Some very funny or sweet parts at the start. It has drifted.

Just read about how the author couldn't get the gate to the parking garage up using her pd for ticket. It reminded me of the time I was on a toll road in a MAJOR city and went through the cash lane accidentally with the gate down. People honking and me not having a clue what to do. Some kind (but exasperated soul) walked up and threw in the 3 quarters. Bless him wherever he is or I would still be there 20 years later

I am not quite there yet but getting closer and closer.

I am listening to the audio and enjoying the reader a great deal. BUT the only way Hoyt could have borrowed more from the BATMAN story line is if the butlers name is Alfred.

Blackmail. Several letters to different friends. Who is sending them

I may return to this someday. The storyline is just moving too slowly for me. I am not a fan of vampire storylines and the slow moving plot. This is a pass form me

The last mystery I read was meh. So far this one is also not grabbing me. Hummmmm is it me? I have been reading mixed reviews.

I am drowning in library books. So, my Kindle Unlimited subscription done until the end of summer (unless I change my mind lol)

Just starting chapter 12. The sex is steamy. The concern for the younger sister's virginity is overdone.
