Thirty percent through the ARC!! Belle and Ethan are yet another fantastic couple in Erin Langston’s Forever Your Rogue universe.

How am I 64% through and she’s still dating NOT THE MAIN GUY? Why? Especially with single POV- why???

I have zero idea why Archer would fall in love with her and zero idea why she’d fall in love with him because her internal dialogue has him firmly in the friend zone.

I want to cry. Lauren Layne was such a comfort read for me, and I am trying. But this isn’t working for me😭

I miss the old LL style. Dual POV. No vaguely triangular shapes.

I’m less than thrilled that at 45% the FMC is asking out the dude who is clearly not the MMC. I AM ALMOST HALFWAY DONE- in a single POV- sell me on Archer not some random guy. Cause right now, Archer “I don’t do relationships and commitment” isn’t doing it for me. At least the banter is bantering like the golden days of LL.

Cooper being a playboy/ ONS kinda guy isn’t my favorite thing either. And I’m assuming he is, in fact, the MMC? I don’t know. I don’t think I care. I’m debating DNFing.

The dating experiences they go on for the website are cute and I enjoy them.

It’s the intervening scenes where her Mom (who is horrid- her 30th birthday gift for Marina was paying to FREEZE HER EGGS🤦🏻‍♀️) or her dad or her ex calls/texts that I get annoyed. Again.

But Lucas is cute and I like their dynamic.

Claire isn’t the only one with trauma. Graham became a firefighter because he saw how hard the ones who responded to the accident that killed his friend worked to save Nathan and stabilize Graham and Noah.

Claire seems to feel she’s the only human to have lost someone in a traumatic way.

She’s gonna break Graham’s heart and I am already mad about it.

Why TF does she answer texts from her dumb ex? Make it make sense.

Single POV kills me. Just dead- I need dual POV!! Because I know if I could be inside Lucas’s head it would break up the annoyance of being in hers.
