I’m obsessed with this one so far. It brings to mind The Dispossessed, not directly, more if it was a prequel. Margaret Killjoy is fantastic at weaving anarchist theory through story and character. It’s a bit heavy, but also often times hopeful.

I am obsessed with this book so far! I didn’t know how much I needed to read cozy fantasy. I usually read dark and heavy science fiction. It’s low stakes but highly entertaining and heartwarming throughout.

I’m not loving it so far, but it’s enough to keep me reading. Each chapter is from the perspective of a different character. I like the premise but a lot of the plot feels telegraphed to me. It reminds me of Outlander a bit.
