Great book! Don't listen to the nay-sayers. It's fantastic and original. Perhaps a tad preachy, but all to the good. I hope there's a sequel but it really doesn't need one. It stands alone quite well. It's not the Malazan Book of the Fallen, so don't go in with those expectations.

Using this to off-set the dreary and often painful reading of the King James Bible.

Okay, so now he just ripped off Tolkien in a huge way. Samuel is a carbon copy of Golem. AAAAGH!

Good story, poor execution. Goodkind needs a ghostwriter.
