All I want to say is I realized Sophie Kinsella is so skilled in creating a scene. She is such an expert that as a reader, you'll know 5, 6 characters, and be able to differentiate them, their specific voices, how each one looks, all in one short chapter. For fast, chick lit reads that tend to have similar stories, that's gold. And the humor. Chapter 2 and I already know I'll be gassy.

This is really good but my word. These kids are so complicated and like to make things complicated for themselves. 🤪

I swear I find this book is so juicy! I feel it's apt to get and munch on popcorn while reading 🍿😂 I want to devour it but. Work.

I opened the book and now I'm deep trouble 🙃 finished the first chapter and I want to rate the whole book a 5. Let's see how it goes...

Such. A. Good. Read. (When you travel of course)

When you read a St. John Mandel book, you sometimes ask yourself, okay what's the point of this? And then one moment, while you're doing something else and not reading, an important of face of the story suddenly reveals itself to you.

I don't want to finish this book... I need more pages. 😭 DG has been writing this series before I was even born and it somehow feels not fair that I'm about to finish 6/9 of her work, in 1 year. And I shouldn't have even read this book cos I'm planning to watch season 6 first... but alas. My self-control has no power over Jamie and Claire.

I'm so screwed.

I have never been invested in a love story as much as Jamie and Claire's. I know it sounds cheesy (and I sound crazy) but I've never seen such epic love elsewhere.

Some people find Diana Gabaldon's writing winding—it is. Hers are the only books I'd want to go on forever; the thicker, the better. I wish I could redo the first times I read her books.

I thought I was getting something historical but turns out this is dystopian! This is amazing! #jawdrop

I don't think there's another author who makes me laugh like Sophie Kinsella does! Such a nice treat after... such. Not so lovely... writing.

I'm asking myself why I'm trying to finish this.

The story idea is good. But.

The narration—I'm so tired of the overflowing description. I don't need that. I want action. Verbs. VE Schwab takes so much time carving the right picture with colors, smells, but when it comes to action she abruptly ends them with 1-line paragraphs that "wants to sound"... epic. Unfortunately, she uses it so much, it fails.

V. cool, action-packed, and un-fluffy (compared to Addie LaRue) so far!

Umbrella, comet. Words used here so liberally, it irks me.

I just asked myself, "Umm. Where is this going?" This better wrap up good.
