I just finished the first 50,000 words of The Saha Declination, on the way to 80,000. I hope to be done with the writing next week, then on to the revisions and editing!

I just finished the first draft of The Grissom Contention! It's 88,000 words long. Time for the editing to commence.

I’ve written about 50k words so far.
Surprises: that an explorer cadet could be such an electronics genius! Siti is much smarter now. I guess she grew up a bit while on Earth.
Liam keeps showing up when I least expect him.

I pull up a message on my holo-ring. It’s from the Peacekeepers, detailing a list of infractions I’ve committed by being on the planet, and a list of fines and penalties for each infraction.
“The ship only left twenty minutes ago,” O’Neill says.
“And she wasn’t on it.” Watson pins a glare on O’Neill. “Who are you, her lawyer?”

I’m working on a new Space Janitor story.

I know, the “box set” says “complete series” on it. But people kept asking me what happened next. So the new story is going to be book 1 in a new series: Tales of a Former Space Janitor.

Sorry, I guess there’s a spoiler there—Triana isn’t janitoring anymore! Anyway, watch for The Rings of Grissom. Due this spring.

The Earth Concurrence is with my editor now. I’m expecting it back in the next day or two. Then I’ll fix it up and get it out to my ARC team.

I've finished the first draft

Here's a snippet:

Dr. Gatens swirled into the lab. He was a short, skinny man, with thick white hair, piercing gray eyes, and a huge lab coat that flapped away from his stick-like body when he moved.
“Welcome to the lab, Sara,” he said.
“It’s Siti,” I replied. “Thanks for hiring me.”
Gates waved a hand, as if my name were unimportant. Or maybe my whole existence was unimportant.

This is my current WIP. I'm about half-way through writing it and having a great time. I can't wait for others to read it!

This story was ok, but I didn’t really connect with the main character, so I wasn’t invested in her journey.

It was a cute story, but chapters and the book had weirdly abrupt endings
