I can’t believe I am trying to read this book for the third time….. you know what though, I read the Twilight series this year so crazier things have happened I guess…. A video about the full cast audiobooks came across my YouTube and I fell sucker to it 😂 got 2 credits for free by renewing my audible and can’t lie, the aduiobook is amazing! Not far in, but absolutely enjoying the experience!

The writing and shadow falls universe is very familiar, what I didn’t realize would be so different are Della’s storylines compared to Kylie’s. I like Della…. I do find her a little too stubborn for me 🫣 but I know she’ll have her growth in the series and I’m excited to see it! I feel so bad about her parents, I hope something with that will improve by the end. 3.5 stars! But I’m going to round down.

I am enjoying this book, I will say I wish we were spending a little more time character building with Chase. Though to be fair if we’re meant to focus on him more later and this was Steve’s chance to shine, I’m alright with that. Della is a little too stubborn, I wish she would lighten up and I hate to say grow up a little more, but…. So I’m not loving her as much as Kylie, but all is good!

I’m enjoying listening to this book! Love being back in the shadow falls universe and Della is both funny as well as one of those characters you want to protect with your soul. One comment….. I just started rewatching Pretty Little Liars so Burnett saying Della was different and special and all that is giving major red flags even though I know it’s not like that 😂 lmao, anyways

To update, those bonus scenes were nothing special…. The most interesting one was the one from Fred the cat when Josh broke in 😂Tyler just did not do it for me and I wanted him to…. Like don’t get me wrong, loved the fact that he was into the whole brat thing, not going to lie their sex scenes got kind of cute, but that was the only part of the book that really did anything for me. I loved the first two tho!

Okay, the last 20% was pretty good, but that doesn’t make up for the rest of the book being so meeeh. Like the payoff was there, but I feel like the setup was just so lacking that I didn’t connect properly. The book had potential, but it just wasn’t there….. it’s a solid 2 star….. there are some bonus scenes so I’ll listen to those and if I have anything to say be back to update. But yeah….. sad lmao

I keep thinking that at any minute it’s going to turn around and be the series I’ve loved….. but it’s getting worse 😭 at first I thought no higher than a 4, then no a 3, now I’m dead ass leaning toward a 2 😭 I loved the first two books in the series I don’t know what happened but I am just not connecting with the characters, I’m lost on the plot, it’s all just happening so fast! Lmaooo

How many times can I come on here and be like ‘I’m reading this book…… for real this time!’ 😂 I don’t know, I guess we’ll find out! I intend to read this book all the way through this time, but as usual, we’ll see where the wind pulls me! My reading journey often works in mysterious ways.

I am connecting to the characters more, but can’t believe I’m almost 50% in 😬 if this were any other author/book I’d probably dnf it, but because I have faith in this author and series, I’m at least giving it the grace to see where it goes 😂 it’s fine truly, you win some and you lose some and the first two books in this series were an absolute joy for me so I’m happy enough!

A cute Heartstopper addition! I liked the tough issues they dealed with in this book and seeing Charlie gain some independence and confidence in this book was lovely ❤️ I’m excited to see what they’ll get up to in book six and how the series will conclude. Nick and Charlie’s story has been so wholesome to read ❤️ 4 lovely stars around!

Back to this series!!! I see there is a 6th book coming out soon so that’s exciting! In this book Charlie and Nick navigated their first sexual experience and now Nick is trying to figure out where to apply to college, so yeah, we’re enjoying this book!!! Finally getting around to it! Nick and Charlie are cute as always and these are always quick and fun reads :)

I don’t know….. I’m not feeling this book? 😅 it’s still early, but I’m not connected with either character, the plot isn’t interesting thus far and I mean it’s still unfolding so I’m just confused more than I feel clarified. But we’ll see!!

5 beautiful stars all around! And on a final note, the narrator for this Audiobook was fantastic! Jake Abel, if you ever get the chance to listen to an audiobook by him, do it! He made the book and emotion absolutely come to life and soooo thankful I got to read along with this audiobook! Alright, I’m out. Until we do a reread, Twilight series! ❤️❤️

Well….. what can I say but what a terrific end to the Twilight series. I addddddorred my tortured Edward and seeing twilight through his eyes adds so much depth and humor honestly to the whole twilight situation and really does show from the vampire perspective how crazy it is that Bella just went along with everything. Yeeeeaaah, maybe Bella did need to be checked! I see it now, Edward 😂 lmao, love love

Bro. Did S.M. write this to prove she can write action scenes? 😂 I’m sitting here reading this scene where they’re speeding the car, then they have to get a new one, then Emmet causes a wreck where there are injuries, but no fatalities and all of a sudden it’s starting to feel a little fast and furious. And then it hits me that the whole breaking Dawn fight isn’t in the book. This is redemption. Lmaooo.

GAME ON INDEED! Omg, I have been so excited for this book! Reading Midnight Sun and only Midnight Sun has gotten a little tiresome so I decided to start a wholesome romance! 👀 lmao, jk, i decided to start this book 😂 unexpectedly gave the first two books in this series 5 stars, so I’ve been suuuuuper excited for this book! Bring it on!

I am loving this book, but as it slowly but surely rolls to an ending, I am thankful 😂 getting so much extra Edward Cullen content has been a lot of fun! And more than just Edward, the whole Cullen family, really have learned a lot of new things about everyone. So yeah, it’s been a lot of fun, I’m pretty positive this is also going to be the first 5 star Twilight, but why is it so long? 😭

So it’s funny through Edward’s eyes understanding like ‘okay, no, girl, run’ 😂 so I just love that perspective shift. 2. No wonder I am team Edward from the start, why do I love tortured men? 😂 makes no sense, someone please help, someone tell me it’s not my job to fix them! Lmao, just something I noticed and found hilarious. Obviously the reading is going well and we’re getting into the meat now

So 2 comments here. 1. I’ve realized something I love about this book, I wish I had Twilight next to me to compare the scenes but I find myself coming to these familiar scenes and feeling completely different about them. The restaurant scene where Edward takes Bella to dinner after saving her from the men in the alley, through Bella’s eyes I remember feeling like ‘ooh he’s being so honest and open!’ (Pt. 1)

Very surprised by how much I love this book so far! Making quick work of it too! Figured I kind of have to though, can’t afford to be reading this book half the month 🥲 but anyways, having a fun time! It’s nice not only seeing what was going through Edward’s head, but also how much new we’re getting to see, the things that Bella was never aware of and how the family responds to Edward is interesting to see

My final twilight book! I’m going into this like ‘god no, not another twilight retelling’ but so far Edward is adding some very interesting lore lmaooo. Like not Edward fully planning to kill Bella at first 😂 so being in his head and seeing the justifications for his initial reactions is fun! I’m looking foward to reading more! But why is the book so big??? We need to split books that long into 2 lmao

What can one say, but wow? It was a great book! I loved all the charterers, I loved their concept of a living funeral, and I love how these friends came together at each others lowest points and saved each other. This was suuuuuuch a beautiful read! Each funeral was unique and god, nothing beats Naomi’s funeral and how I cracked up, but each funeral was beautiful in its own respect! I absolutely loved this book!

Wow, I was not prepared for how funny the sky diving scene would be, holy shit 😂😂 not me sitting in the car listening to the audiobook and literally cracking up over how quickly chaotic that scene turned. Pure gold. And I was just thinking Naomi had nothing to give, but I’ll take my words back, that was better than a funeral 😂 now I can’t wait to see what Nana’s is like.

I enjoyed it, it was pretty good…… it was just mid- good 😂 3.5 for sure. I enjoyed the concept, I enjoyed both characters, the pull and how effortless they were. What I didn’t enjoy was him lying to her at the turn point (always one of those dumb things that turns into a miscommunication because it’s like if you had just been honest…) but it was a good book, I just wish it had done a little bit more.

I found this book at the library when I visited my mom’s library to get her signed up for a library card. I know it’s early, but I already loooove this book. I love the concept of it, I so far am enjoying the characters, it’s a good time! Honestly I really loooove the idea of a living funeral. I think we should all have the chance (if wanted) to hold a living funeral for ourselves.

I was fairly enjoying this book and now I feel like I’ve hit a wall and don’t want to continue, which is stupid because I have less than 3 hours left 😂 it’s not entirely the books fault, but I am struggling to finish the last of the book and need to do so before it returns tomorrow 😬 it’s fine, it’s fine.

I’ve been going back and forth on what to rate this book for a few days now and a 3.5 feels right. At times I loved this book and couldn’t wait to get back to it, and at times I was confused, whole povs could have been skipped, and I had to renew this book and still was struggling to chug along 😂 I’m looking forward to continuing the series, but a 3.5 feels right for this book right now.

I really enjoyed Simon and Baz and for the most part liked their development, but at the end I did feel parts of it were a little not rushed….. but I don’t know, I didn’t connect with them getting together like I wanted to 😂 but for my complaints I’m going to continue on with the series with excitement to see where the story is going next! Hopefully I’ll enjoy Baz and Simon being together next book more!

This book started very Harry Potter rip off like, but honestly I found that comforting in the beginning stages and I feel like it quickly differentiates itself. I enjoyed this book quite a bit! Third book by this author and I’m enjoying myself! My one complaint about this book specifically is omg, how many character povs did we need?? I would have loved to see that part cleaned up and limited a little more.
