This story is fascinating. The winter chapters felt cozy and it's interesting seeing the shift into spring. The way Almanzo's upbringing contrasts with Laura's is cool to see, too. A very enjoyable read!

Got to the 3rd year. So interesting to read about all they've been through so far, and Rose's birth. I'm enjoying this story so far and looking forward to reading more. It's the one I recall the least, out of the entire series.

This story has been such an enjoyable read, and now Laura is getting ready for her wedding! It's funny because as a kid, I remember thinking this was so romantic. As an adult, Laura's courtship strikes me as long and very practical, with few sparks. Either way, it's been a fun read and I appreciate the cleanness of the courtship and seeing more of life back then.
