So I was really looking forward to this book, but after reading the majority of the short stories in it, I’m kind of let down. While stories like “the Head” and “Frozen Finger” proved to be unique and unsettling in the best way, many of the others have content that makes them feel convoluted and unnecessary. Plot lines that do not ultimately matter or change the story as a whole are spread through out.
