I really enjoyed this book. I appreciated the descriptions of scenes, you don’t find much writing like this anymore. The tale is a display of the rich’s bored extravagance and indifference to the woes of those around them. Everyone loved Gatsby when he was throwing grand parties, but hardly anyone had the time to attend his funeral. They ignored the Ash Heaps as they drove through in anticipation of a good time.
