picked up an arc of this from work bc i've been hearing a lot about matt dinniman in my Gamer Circles and i was curious... interesting premise so far but unfortunately reading this after barbara kingsolver is like psychological torture... matt dinniman i am begging you to use an ounce of symbolism... just a dash of flowery prose... a single sentence that is not Subject Verb Object...

mostly reading this because i've been thinking a lot about how "cozy" media tends to erase real injustices and i think this being published at a time when AI is taking people's jobs is genuinely insane and possibly the most uncomfortable example of this. conveniently found out that i now have access to barnes and noble's giant online ARC platform the day that they sent out an internal memo about this book! i can read books that aren't gonna be out for 6 months! i feel so powerful! anyway the story behind this book is so cool

scrambling to finish my hometown library’s book bingo before the end of the year and the “revenge” circle has been tormenting me all year. this was the only book in my TBR that could possibly fit! happy Amelia Reads Books For Age Groups They Are Way Older Than Autumn everybody!

even though this book’s style is a little pretentious i absolutely adore all the random little details about each and every character and im genuinely perplexed by some of these. how did she come up with all this!!!!!!!!! what the hell!!!!!!!!!!!!

one thing they dont tell u about working at barnes and noble is that sometimes u will be shelving in the middle grade section and see a book that is so cute and that u would have absolutely adored when u were 10 and u have to start reading it even though u just turned 23 #NOSHAME
