Typical Pynchon, all over the place but...noir. I don't expect I will finish this one but I wanted to give P another go.

This will be a fast read: insightfully written, not particularly scholarly but entertaining. An interesting environmental expose I was not anticipating but as a West Coast native I find particularly relevant.

Such a good exploration, I really enjoyed seeing the thought experiment all the way to destruction

Enjoying the characters, though a bit muddling with the timeline.

Loving this.

Ugh. I guess this is an instance of text not aging well, or fiction being a capsule reflection of its time.
