Kate is 70% done with The Seven or Eight Deaths of Stella Fortuna
This book started off beautiful, weaving a magical account of a rural Italian village in the mountains and childhood in the early 20th century. The author had a way of dropping the answers to questions to skip the long wait to find out, while still keeping the story interesting and timeline unique.

And then the author decided to throw the work in the bin by fixating on rape and awful content. What the hell…
