I’ve decided I will finish the year by finally completing the KJ Charles backlog.

Why did I wait so long to read this?!

I’m at a standstill with this. I want to finish it so bad, and I know it will be worth it, but my anxiety around things ending is way too high. I will probably try to come back to in a hard copy. I do enjoy the audio for this, but I think I will have to save for a reread.

Tis the season for a re-read.

Audiobook on blast as I wait for November 7th!

You know it’s stress time when I’m running to an already read KJ Charles book. Usually it would be Sins of the City but I’m canceling Audible Plus soon and haven’t gotten around to buying in audio.

I’ve been holding off because after this, I’ve read all Nothwell’s books. But the season calls for it, so I must answer.

It’s my annual ‘Unsubscribe to all streaming services to catch up on owned copies’ so I’m binging Audible Plus and KU like it’s going out of style.

My plans to read all day has been interrupted by unexpected house projects. Luckily, I have a backlog of audiobooks needing to be read.

Alright, everything on hold, I need to devour Nothwell’s back catalogue I haven’t gotten to yet before the new book is on this weekend :/

It’s that time of the year where I dwell deep back into my comfort hobbit mode. I learned how to sync my audio version with my kindle version and I’m having a blast. Sorry TBR

So the issue at hand is not that I’m not liking the book, because I am, but I keep unintentionally comparing it to A Taste of Gold and Iron (one of my faves)and I gotta stop doing that.

Re-read because I blinked and one of my fave books of last year has three sequels!?!? So I must immediately devour.

Needed some sort of easy nonfiction after the horror book I finished earlier today.

Eeks. I feel like I have a hint what is happening, but my last Evenson took me for a loop so who knows.

I’m having an issue with the cover. Is she wearing a 1990s pant suit in the early 1800s? Maybe it’s my own fault for trying to piece this cover out on my phone, but I’m so confused.

Why is it that everything I feel ill, I run back to this book?
