This is an incredible psychological thriller. Cleaned so much. Walked in the bitter cold. Highly recommend!!

Ok, this is infinitely better than Most Fun We Ever Had. Is it 5 star? We’ll see… I currently have some notes for sure.

This is such a slow drip Claire Lombardo read & much like Most Fun We Ever Had, it’s a “perfect on the outside” middle class white nuclear family dealing with … life being messy because that’s what life is. Like MFWEH, she pulls you into her characters through joining them in the mundane routines of their lives. I’m holding space that there will be unfinished business at the end (but I know better).

Gah, this is so good. One long cringey train wreck unfolding slowly over the chapters.

Holy shit book IV. This is such a slow read until you get to book IV. Lots of world building, tension, but nothing that makes you stay up late and read until the very end of book III and oh boy it’s good!

What is this book trying to be? A memoir? A non-fiction expose of Momfluencer culture or machinery? I feel like it cannot find it’s focus and so does nothing as a result. I’m finding a new audiobook away from dnf-ing this.

This is a lovely listen so far, I’m loving the perspective of the narrator storytelling to a detective after it all falls apart.

This has been a slow read of two completely unlikable characters. I’ve almost put it down a bunch of times because I’m just not interested in them or their lives or the plot really. Last night this shifted dramatically. HOLY SHIT IM GLAD I STAYED WITH THIS.
