Good so far except the author presented an inaccurate and offensively limited description of Buddhism on pg. 140. He is trying to make the argument that mindfulness is more Christian than Buddhist, but I am confused as to why this needs to be a competition. I am reading this to learn about his Christian practices, not his Christian supremacy.

This is a painstaking examination of the evolution of the words "presbyter" and "episcopos" in early Christian churches. Stewart did an excellent job with his task but the work probably appeals to scholars almost exclusively. If the rating is based off of whether or not he accomplished his goal, I'd have to give it 5 stars. But due to the difficulty of the read I am sticking with my 2 star rating.

This is the most difficult book that I have ever read.
