Ghost boys is about this boy who got shot, and comes back as a ghost and watches how his family is doing. then it goes back in time to when he was alive. telling how him and his best friend met. the conflict so far is there are kids beating him up.

so far its about this girl who moves around a lot with her mom and grandfather.. the house shes at now she doesn't like.. and she fines a journal leave from someone who killed himself in the house years ago

right now in the book Jacqueline mom just left for new york. she left for new york to find better life for them. while she is gone her old high school caught on fire. it caught on fire during a high school dance, some people were marching..

Jacqueline was looking for a fabric store. the fabric store they go to is owned by a white lady who is very nice. she talks about how even though the stores and restaurants allow color people they pay people to watch color people to make sure they don't steal . they dont go to the restaurants because they are set near the kitchen.

Brown girl dreaming is so far telling about Jacqueline's childhood starting with the day she was born. also with her mother and fathers background together. about her mom and dad splitting up. right now i'm at the part where she is in the south.

Rashad was beat by a white police man. Rahad is in the hospital and has been for days. someone had spray painted in wide loopy neon blue letters "Rashad is absent Again today" Quinn and English is wondering who did it. Carols is trying to fix things with Rashad.

I connect most with Rashad because he is being blamed for stealing when he wasn't. My mom and siblings always blame me for stuff that ii don't do. also i feel like no matter what he does his family wont be proud of him. That's how it is with me.

The book is told by 2 people Quinn and Rashad. I feel like the book would be good without them both telling it. You wouldn't be told the truth.

The biggest conflict in the book is with rashed. The cop beat him for "stealing" and he is in the hospital. I think they are going to find him not guilty and maybe the way they beat on black kids might change.

It is about 2 different boys, Rashad and Quinn. Rashad dad makes him join Rotc. Rashad is caught for "stealing" even though he wasn't trying to steal. Quinn is more of a party kid. On Friday night Quinn takes him brother to his friends house. Then he goes out to party. My favorite Character so far is probably Rashad because i just feel bad for him. Since he got in trouble for something he didn't do.

A boy who name is Rashed parents are forces him to ROTC. Talking about his everyday life. How he likes to party and stuff......
