The premise and character ideas are extremely intriguing, and some of the initial banter among friends was very entertaining.

Yet, despite a whorl of interesting ideas - first-time virgin, man with very lacy secrets unveiled, months of yearning for each other - both the relationship chemistry and perhaps the physical intimacy in the first chapter was relatively flat for me, especially compared to the ideas.

Beau is enchanting, Wolfram (the beast) is intriguing enough, and the heat is... nicely searing for my tastes.

Finished submitting the reviews for the final stories. Overall, another very worthwhile anthology from Dreamspinner, providing quick, entertaining, and sometimes nicely innovative stories.

Reviewed a Cobra's tale, a story of slavery, harem boys, belly dancing, and a rough and tumble interloper

Added a gay virgin/unicorn fairy tale - nothing overly compelling but fun and sweet.

Four more stories read and rated, the collection continues to add some nice diversity, including something for cat lovers, fans of shy protagonists, and a even a tiny bit of gender-bending in their shifters.

Absolutely loved Daniel's Lynx, and very heated story about two mature men.

Another story that was o.k., although it might be a special interest to those interested in Hawaii, Wiccans, Sharks, and bisexuals.
