Help!
I seem to be suffering from a weird book hangover.
The last one I read was pretty good and now I can't seem to get into another one.
I've started and abandoned 3 books because they a seemed meh.
Would LOVE some recommendations. Open to reading any genre as long as the romance is solid.

Special request for UK based GR friends.
I'm going to be making a short trip to London soon and I would LOVEE some recommendations about which of the touristy stuff is actually worth doing.
Save me from my HR loving self who will otherwise spend this trip wandering around areas mentioned in my favourite books :p

I haven't read a decent Historical Romance in ages. any and all recommendations are welcome!

DNF at 39%.
I was just so bloody bored and so indifferent to the characters that it seemed like a waste to continue.

Not off to the best start, hope it picks up soon

TSTL heroine alert.

Over a hundred pages later and the heroine is as annoying as ever.
I feel like I'm reading about a 15 year old

Bribing a servant for his livery and then stowing away in the carriage of a supposed scoundrel.......
Yes I see how that is a far more smarter plan than walking a little and finding a hackney cab


I had heard negative things about the hero but so far it's the heroine who is getting on my nerves.

She needs to grow up and meet the hero already! -_-

Okay so in roughly 12 hours not only has the h moved past her dislike but is on first name basis with a man she has known for a less than a day and is clinging to his neck in tearful apology? Really!

Nearly half a book and the H and h have hardly interacted. :(
