Help!
I seem to be suffering from a weird book hangover.
The last one I read was pretty good and now I can't seem to get into another one.
I've started and abandoned 3 books because they a seemed meh.
Would LOVE some recommendations. Open to reading any genre as long as the romance is solid.

I'm in the same boat! I'm about to start The Wallflower Wager by Tessa Dare. I've seen high ratings for it all summer and fall, so I hope it can keep me interested. I would recommend The Wallflowers series and The Hathways series by Lisa Kleypas. Almost everyone's favorite is Devil in Winter and Love in the Afternoon. I see you haven't read Devil in Spring. The hero from Devil in Spring is the son of the couple from Devil in Winter.

Thank you guys!!!
Really appreciate these.
It was "Promise of Darkness' by Bec McMaster. it's a good read if you enjoy fantasy romance. I would also strongly recommend "Bringing Down the Duke" by Evie Dunmore.
I have Dunmore's book in the pile.... the other series I have not read.Say, have you noticed if your taste (or changes in it) have affected your reading preferences? I mean, putting aside that writing can be good or bad, have you changed in how much you enjoy more or enjoy less certain types of books?

OMG I was JUST thinking about this.
I was looking through my TBR pile (especially the books that were added a few years ago) and I realized there are SO many books that no longer appeal to me and tropes that I was a lot more open to a few years ago are hard sells for me now.
Yes... I have plenty PNRs featuring demons and vampires (where they are the bad guys) in my pile but nowadays I enjoy more the books with fiction settings and the communities formed between the characters, not as much their battles against evil and so. Still, there are many books and I still struggle to just let them go.
We don't know each other, but how about...Knight in Black Leather by Gail Dayton
Out of Time by Pauline Baird Jones
Darkness Dawns (Immortal Guardians #1) by Dianne Duvall
My Commander (Bewitched and Bewildered #1)by Alanea Alder
Dark Alpha's Claim (Reaper #1) by Donna Grant
Shifter Planet (Shifter Planet #1) by D.B. Reynolds
Games of Command by Linnea Sinclair

Nothing to Fear by Juno Rushdan Intense romantic suspense
Fix Her Up sexy fun light contemporary. People either loved this or really, really hated it, so might want to read more reviews to see if in your wheelhouse
Listen to the Moon by Rose Lerner Emotionally true historical that will linger with you for a while.
The Rogue to Ruin by Vivenne Lorret Sexual tension foreplay bantering.
These are ones I've read lately that I really enjoyed (I was going to rec Bringing Down the Duke but I see you've already read and enjoyed that one :)
Hope you can find something that pulls you in!
