Wow, this is the most painfully unrealistic yet boring book. The MC just keeps meeting guys. Who are like super overly nice and are all looking out for her, even though she's just some random girl. Reads more like a teenager's dream; like 5 guys taking care of her at once. :P But oh my gosh when is something going to happen? :/

I know it's totally childish, but I want all the characters to meet up soon! I know that people go their separate ways and stuff but I feel like there hasn't been much interaction between certain characters who were close in the last book. Not that it's a bad thing, but I'm childish and I want to see everyone meeting each other!

This is just... So good... Ahh I love all the characters so much. :D

Um, why are the French the evil rulers of the paranormal world? They're really sinister and have heaps of power over everyone in the US... I don't understand... D:

Okay now the MC is just flopping around being useless while some guy with anger issues is handling an escape. Not all female characters have to be strong and badass, but it's irritating reading about someone who seems to be useless in every way.

Allai just fainted. Again. Like realistically, how much does someone faint?

LOL, even though I read the synopsis it didn't hit me that the protagonist was a boy until 5 pages in! Haha gee I can be dumb sometimes. :P The book is looking pretty good so far. :D

I'm rereading The Forever Song at the moment, and I realised something. The characters are taking days to walk from one city to another, but the vampires in the book don't get tired. So why don't they just run the whole way? They could literally sprint the entire way and not need to rest, but they're just walking slowly.

Logged onto Goodreads on my computer for the first time in ages and thought "Holy shit, I'm home."

Arin just told Kestrel to stop mourning someone because the person who died "wasn't [her] blood". Bullshit. Firstly, if Arin can talk back to his master, then why can't someone mourn the death of their slave that they've know since childhood? Also, what's wrong with mourning someone who isn't your blood? Does this mean I can't mourn the death of someone I love if they're not of the same race as me? Stupid.

Ugh, what is up with Arin? Since when are slaves allowed to talk back to their masters in public? There's a line between treating your slave with respect and letting them walk all over you. Otherwise, this book is alright. But nothing exciting yet.

...what the hell is with the epilogue? I see no significance in this at all. Oh, God, please don't let there be a spin-off...

We finally get to know how the epidemic started. And guess what? It doesn't make any sense. So, three people committing suicide together started a huge epidemic. How the hell does that even happen? People commit suicide everyday, and it's definitely been done in groups before. However, random suicides in the real world don't epidemics. Suicide's been around for ages. How does 3 more cause an epidemic?

I feel like Charley's obsession of bacon is getting out of hand.

Meh. I like Cash, and Joe is alright, this is just way too long. There's a lot on general college life and way too many minor characters. This entire thing needs more things happening, or it needs to be compacted down.

Hey, is anyone experiencing problems with Goodreads on Internet Explorer or Google Chrome? They keep telling me that there's something wrong with the security certificate whenever I click on a link.

"Or are we the cure for a worldwide epidemic?" It's pandemic. It's a bloody pandemic, not an epidemic.

Oh my god, how the hell are there so many evil adults in the Program? They're all portrayed as twisted and stupid for implementing the Program. How the hell can so many adults be wrong about something and how can a small group of annoying teenagers be "right" about this? If the Program really is super fucked up, then how come only kids know about this? Wouldn't adults know about the problems? Stupid.

God, I hate Realm so much. If Sloane gets together with him I will be super pissed.

Man, this is so stupid. The Program's secret plan is stupid. The characters are stupid. This whole depression plot line is stupid. The improper use of the word epidemic is stupid. Ugh. If I didn't want to see how the series ended, I would have stopped reading this by now.

Page 131: "He was raving about the epidemic spreading, but I attributed it to his depression. I thought he had gone crazy." ...so now having depression equals going crazy? Great... :/

Meh, so much relationship drama.

"Neither of us knows how to boil water" Whoa, seriously? How does that even happen? The girl who's saying this is meant to be super smart and got into Harvard Law.

Oh my God, please stop with all the hot guys and the use of "ohmygawh". Gawh. Haha, what a funny word.

Ok, I understand the effects that rape can have on people, but this is just so poorly incorporated into the story. The girl is all fine and happy and then she just brings it up really randomly. She mentions it as a reason that she can't swim, but I really don't see how the two are related.
