Word Processor of the Gods - I liked this concept but I wish the ending was different. I could read a longer version of it
The Man Who Would Not Shake Hands - decent, not bad but not one of my faves
Beachworld - this one was cool, I liked the imagery it created in my head
The Reaper's Image - a nice concept, short but did what it set out to do
Nona - really enjoyed this story
For Owen - another poem, pretty cute

The Wedding Gig just felt like a story about hating fat women and I didn't much enjoy it
Paranoid: A Chant was a fairly effective poem
The Raft ... that was crazy. Real teen horror movie vibes, I feel like I've seen a movie just like it??

The Jaunt - that one is going to stick with me. What a great and horrifying premise. Has Stephen written much more sci-fi horror like this? I'd love to read more of that from him

Cain Rose Up was disturbing
Mrs Todd's Shortcut was kind of beautiful, I was very intrigued by that concept

The Mist I already know and love, though I actually prefer the bleak, existential movie ending
Here There Be Tygers was short and strange
The Monkey was a really good and genuinely scary story and I'm excited to be able to watch the movie now. I didn't love all the racism though. Like I know he doesn't agree with it but he sure does depict it a lot without any censoring

Okay, FINALLY I feel like I'm in the swing of things and enjoying it. I will have to dock a star because I struggled for so long to find my rhythm and the structure was getting the better of me but I'm having an easier time in part II

Just the final story to read which is a novella really, excited for something longer because most of the new to me stuff has been very short!

Okay, I've read a handful of these stories before so I won't be rereading them right now, just the ones I haven't read yet, but putting my thoughts all together in my review for this book

I'm struggling with this sequel, if it was by a new author to me I'd have dnfed this book and the series ngl ... but I loved Licanius so I have to keep going and hope I get into it more

I'm still trying to get a solid grip on all the different things going on and keep them straight in my head. This is a bit confusing but so was Licanius, in a totally mindblowing, amazing way. This one is taking me a bit longer to be able to really sink into, but it's still a very interesting idea

I'm going to have to stop the audiobook and just read it physically because just listening is making me So confused, I had no idea each chapter was technically a different perspective, I had no clue what was going on

this is not a dorian gray retelling, it's a new modern story based on it. almost more like a sequel than a retelling, the same way society for soulless girls used the jekyll and hyde concept but wasn't a retelling. therefore, i'm not gonna get mad about character inconsistencies etc like some people bc they're not the same characters? i like it so far!

mmm I am not going to read ascension but i will read odd spirits since it's just a short novella so i at least read 2/3 of these books since i bought them. i do not enjoy this book unfortunately

I'm into this and it reads quickly, but it is pretty much just relationship drama and not a great deal of plot so far. I'll be reading all of their other books because I own them and I'm sure it'll all be a fun time but this is definitely not as beautiful and bewitching as A Dowry of Blood, but not bad at all

It's just feeling very okay, very 3 stars

Not sure how I feel so far. I like the writing and humour in this but I don't know how invested I am in the actual story

It's so readable, I'm flying through and enjoying it just the same the second time around
