trust teddy hamilton, i‘ve listened to soooo many hours of his voice at this point and he honestly rarely ever gets it wrong

this might be the stupidest novel in this whole romance binge i‘ve read yet - this book is absolutely crawling with clichees and that‘s the least of it but hey. we move.

so far this is a pleasant surprise in terms of quality but also!! if someone‘s IRISES grow bigger ONE MORE TIME i might riot

listen i know i‘ve said this about 50 times now but PLEASE get an editor like i‘m clearly enjoying these books or i wouldn‘t still be reading but the amount of spelling errors/switching between tenses/incomplete sentences etc etc is flat out ridiculous

okay thank FUCK i dnf‘d the teddy/rhys book because i can barely take teddy in this one without wanting to smash things

there‘s already been like three completely inexplicable actions by these characters, also the term „cuddle snakes“ unprompted and one of the main characters leaving his house in purple crocs and shirtless. this is gonna take some SERIOUS mental acrobatics to get through

an editor!! please!! (dear god the spelling is making my inner teacher come out)

seriously though, this guy needs a good editor because his tenses and commas are all over the place (she says, already heavily invested)

i‘m 11 chapters in and so far all i know is i shouldn‘t have gone the audiobook road - any depth this book might have is clearly getting lost in the narration

this is kind of driving me insane? like i didn‘t expect much of this but it‘s actually delivering in ways i wasn‘t expecting… god. (it‘s fucking past 3am on my last night of spring break, kill me)

wow this is like way too dark and sick for my taste, i‘m just in it for the morbid curiosity at this point but i‘ll revisit that decision tomorrow

tracked my reading speed tonight because recent events (being fully anti-social and spending my entire spring break reading) have made me wonder and i honestly would‘ve thought i read faster than this. do all the booktokers with 100+ read books a year actually understand anything of what they‘re reading??

i swear i‘m normal and the speed at which i‘m consuming gay romance novels doesn‘t inform on my mental state at all

actually incredible literature, what can i say.

one thing i love about this series is how many women populate its pages, how the gender of a character never seems to be an indicator of their strength or proficiency of of the fear they inspire. then again, kind of sad that that‘s such an unusual circumstance that i would take notice like this…

honestly this is kinda funny but i still don‘t understand the big hype so far… it‘s gonna be one hard fight from here on out if this is gonna wanna make me read more of the series

i‘m side eyeing this book SO hard but i also really wanna know what all the hype is about so i guess here we go (gotta use up my audible credits anyways)
