yep i‘ve been influenced. and considering i‘m using my saved up audible credits for this, it doesn‘t even interfere with my „no buying new books this year“ rule.
currently in chapter 29.
so far: what the fuck, james beaufort?
and: what is it with german authors writing books about english/american/canadian teens? (re: dunbridge academy).

somehow i knew this was gonna be one of those books that‘d flay me wide open.
well. about halfway through and i‘ve already sobbed once. cheers.

to be completely honest with you, i‘ve lost the plot. like at this point i am so confused, i barely remember anything that happened in the entire series, it‘s just so MUCH?! but also on the upside: still being entertained.

well this has been like my fourth or so reread and this is still fun, but also i have JUST noticed that daddy issues are a recurring theme with elle kennedy, maybe i should take a break on the hockey romances… 🤔

ngl if i was actually reading this instead of listening to it and wasn‘t able to put it on double speed i might have seriously considered abandoning it. probably my least favourite elle kennedy novel i‘ve read to date.

one chapter in and i already know this is gonna be so worth it. the kind of prose that immediately pulls you in.

watch me sound out every italian word in the hopes of not having to look at the english translation next to it.. jumpa, i get it!
