IMO the Effy and Preston here are NOT the same characters from the first book. Also for them being so young, they seem to behave like an older laid-back couple. There isn’t very much spice in this book though the elements that would lead me to believe these are young people in love are not there. It seems like they hardly wanted to kiss each other.

My first impression has improved and the story is getting interesting. I can’t predict what’s going to happen which is something I enjoy.

I received this book in a Goodreads giveaway and am looking forward to getting into the Christmas spirit! My first impression was not favorably as I was put off by the way the MC talks about some children in her workplace. Harsh, judgmental and whiny are the words that come to mind. Fingers crossed it will improve as I keep reading.

Probably the longest book I’ve read all year but totally worth it. I’ve felt immersed in the stories of Emmet, Billy, Duchess and Woolly, as if I was there traveling along with them. Also Duchess is my favorite even though he seems to be a trouble maker.
