Harry had been able to use the patronus charm to scare off the dementors when Mrs. Figg ran into the alleyway. Harry had found out that Mrs. Figg was a squib. Someone who came from a family of magic but aren’t able to do magic themselves. They walked home and when they neared it, the person who was supposed to be taking care of Harry, Mundungus Fletcher, finally appeared.

As Dudley and Harry were walking through an alleyway on their way home, and they encountered a dementor. Harry tried to use the patronus charm but it didn’t work until he thought about Ron and Hermione.

Harry walked behind Dudley and his gang knowing uncle Vernon would get him in trouble if Dudley got home before him; he watched as Dudley said goodbye to his gang. they walked the rest of the way home as Harry just annoyed Dudley, finding it amusing. Although Dudley didn’t. Dudley then mentioned how Harry would talk in his sleep as he had nightmares about being in the cemetery. Harry almost attacked Dudley.

Harry walked to the park as he thought about how Hermione and Ron hanging out without him and being mad because they won’t tell him anything. They told him their letters to him were limited and they weren’t allowed to talk about anything. While at the park, he saw Dudley and his gang walking home past the park, and fought the urge to call them over knowing Dudley was scared to mess with him.

There was an explosion right outside the Dursley’s home which attracted Vernon and Petunia’s attention. They checked outside just as Harry had gotten out from under the window with his wand out. Vernon warned him about not having his wand out and not believing when Harry had told him he was under the window to just hear the news. He left as his aunt and uncle were yelling at him.

The book starts on Privet Drive and how there was adroitly so most of the house didn’t look as “perfect” as they usually do; Harry is on a flower bed right outside the Dursley’s home, hiding as he listened to the news from outside; we learned that Dudley never really spent time at home, and unknown to his parents, he spends time with his friends smoking and throwing rocks at kids.

Hogwarts finally had their final meal before leaving for the summer; Dumbledore told the schools about Cedric’s death and what caused it; Hermione told Harry and Ron how Rita has been getting exclusive stuff from them; Harry gave the twins his winnings from the tournament so they could open their joke shop

Dumbledore took Harry to his office, where Sirius was waiting, to talk about what happened.

Voldemort tells Harry about how he gained power over th years; The ghosts of the people Voldemort had killed came out of Voldemort’s wand as they were dueling and helped Harry; Harry escapes and was taken to the infirmary by Mad Eye Moody till he found out that he was actually Barry Crouch Jr; he found out the truth about what happened at the Quidditch tournament and how he ended up at the graveyard with Voldemort.

Voldemort talked to his followers, telling them what they did wrong or what they did right. He showed mercy anyways and we find out that Crabbe, Goyle, and Nott are all there. Friends of Malfoy and Slytherins

Voldemort had cut off Wormtail's hand; all the death eaters apparated to the cemetery; Voldemort scolded all the death eaters that didn't help or even think about helping him gain power but forgave Wormtail for bringing him back into his true form. Therefor he gave him a really strong but fake hand

Wormtail started the ritual. The things needed were: none of the father, unknowingly given; flesh of a servant, willingly given; and blood from the enemy, forcibly taken. He completed the ritual and brought Voldemort back.

Harry finds Krum using the Cruciatus Curse on Cedric and stops him. Him and Cedric get separated but eventually find each other again when they both see the Triwizard Cup. Him and Harry argue about who should get the cup but eventually agree on grabbing it together. They get teleported to a graveyard and find Wormtail. He ends up killing Cedric and ties Harry up.

The final task finally started and Harry and Cedric were the first two to go into the maze. At first there was nothing in Harry’s way until he stumbled upon a boggart and one of Hagrid’s Blast-ended skrewts. He had heard Fleur’s scream but couldn’t find her. Then he heard Krum use the cruciatus curse on Cedric.

Hermione and Ron helped Harry with preparing for his last task. Hermione came up with a possible idea as to how Rita Skeeter is finding out things that were spoken through private conversations without being caught. The parents of the true Izard school champions came to Hogwarts to observe the last task.

Dumbledore talked to Harry about his memories and the disappearances of people that the ministry just brushed off. Harry learned about what happened to Neville’s parents and promised not to tell anyone. Although he did tell Hermione and Ron the rest.

(This was supposed to be from yesterday’s reading but I forgot 😭) It’s Sana’s 16th birthday and as she is at the beach she finds out from her mom that her and her family have to move to California for the dad’s job. The mom is very bold about it and not even considering how Sana would feel since she just found out.

Here we read about Ludo Bagman and Barty Crouch Jr's hearing. Both being sent back to azkaban. Dumbledore finds Harry looking into the Pensieve and shows him what it is and how it works.

It’s Harry’s birthday and he opens letters from his closets friends. Like Hermione, Ron, and Hagrid. He almost woke up his aunt and uncle with a book Hagrid got him.

Harry and the other three triwizard contestants (ig idk) finally get to the last and third task. They go in depending on what place they got during the second task.

Cooper goes over with the other three and compare notes again. People are still making fun of Cooper and someone said something about how Bronwyn and Nate are dating.

The four kids started having lunch together, mostly because Cooper started getting made fun of for being gay. Once again, the people working on their investigation managed to leak that information out. Those same four came together and met up in a house that was still being built. They put in their own ideas on who they think the killer is.

After his dad found out that he was gay, he freaked out. And Bronwyn snuck out to see Nathan, once again.

Cooper found out that they had found new information on him. The entry Simon had originally posted about Cooper was not the one he was gonna post. They found another entry, exposing him for being gay, forcing him into coming out to his homophobic dad

Percy, his mother, and Grover had been running from the Minotaur but his mother gets herself killed while on the way to camp half blood. Annabeth takes care of Percy while at the camp and when he awakens he meets the councilor of the camp, Mr. D and learns that Greek Gods are real.

Harry told Hermione and Ron all that happened in the woods. They plan on telling Sirius, and they find out that the Weasley Twins, Fred and George, are trying to blackmail someone. During divination, Harry has this vision thing, maybe someone getting into his head, and he sees Wormtail talking to Voldemort. To everyone else, he is clutching his burning scar, rolling in pain. He goes to tell Dumbledore.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione visit Sirius in this little cave he was living in and find out the truth about Crouch and his son. They learned that Crouch had sent his own son to the dementors after learning that his son was somehow involved with the dark lord. They go to Winky to get more info on Crouch. They found out that Crouch had a secret but still don't know what that is.

Here we meet a boy named Charlie, who’s on his way to his first year of high school. Coincidentally, he looses some of the friends he had in middle school, one to suicide. So, he’s afraid of going into high school alone. We learn more about his childhood and family, plus his new high school life and new friends. Patrick and Sam.

Harry had completed his second task, succeeding on saving Ron and Fleur's little sister, in a little over an hour; Rita Skeeter back at it again with spying on fourteen year old kids, cause she apparently has nothing better to do and completely lies about Hermione and Harry being in a relationship. Including slut shaming Hermione, and how she is apparently playing with both Krum and Potter.

Ron and Hermione continued to help Harry find way for him to breathe underwater, considering his second task involved him staying underwater for an hour. Dobby ended up finding a solution which helped Harry breathe underwater and find Ron before the time was up.
