So maybe I’m just starting to get this book

Okay seems like things are heating up again but still Briseis has lost like all of her narration essentially and is now just a side character like why

high key trudging through now because I’m getting bored
I feel like we lost the point of the book because Briesis lost a lot of her narrating and now it’s not even about her it’s just about the war

I’m enjoying the pacing as of now but tbh it’s just a not as good retelling of the Trojan war

Alrightttt things are finally heating up

I love when parts of this align with song of Achilles (I know that they are both just retellings of Greek history blah blah well I haven’t read those alright so my only point of reference is song of Achilles)

finally getting to the big revenge but I’m kinda pissed it’s so late in the book

I’m enjoying this book don’t get me wrong but I’m still waiting for the damn revenge this book is supposed to be about

Don’t really get the Rhysand hype so far

Switched up in a somewhat unexpected way so that’s cool

I love it omg

So far i really like it. Wouldn’t say love just because after chapter 5 it was a little bit slow for me. It has picked up tho which is lit. Think she just met Rhysand? I dont know anything about him so im just going based off vibes. I love the descriptions of the forests and things i wish i was there ughhhh :( I do appreciate that they all have pronounceable names.
