The title’s choice of using Informal is doing a lot of heavy lifting in the book so far

Ok I’m getting into it now. It’s way more understandable than I thought

He just got down with the dinner with the Self taught man. I think this was the climax of his nausea

He’s anxious from reading too much history and how that applies to his life. I can relate

This book is great for my upcoming English class.

From 80 to 103 made this book a classic for me. He talks about provisional experience and how the effort to see a future for yourself is extremely for your mental hygiene. Prisoners, Wardens(who were sometimes prisoners themselves), and commanders were complex. Acts of kindness came from unexpected places for Frankel. He takes about that after liberation prisoners psyches were terrible. Compared it getting the bends

It’s still depressing but he just got freed from Auschwitz. Now’s he’s making larger claims about his time there and it’s getting more interesting. But he did a good job depicting just how cruel and depraved his time at the camp was, and added an informative example of how other inmates can go crazy or shift their entire personality under great subjugation.

I’m going through this book so fast. It’s a fun read.

It’s pretty cool so far. Androids that control weapons systems, facts about octopi, and scientist trying to understand their language. So cool. Also economic aspect about ai ships with human slave crews. Humans have less value than androids because androids are expensive to repair. Monk robots help protect seat turtles eggs from poachers
