Brilliant storytelling by author Beverly Jenkins, and a great kickoff to the Women Who Dare series. Valinda Lacy is intelligent, educated, brave, audacious, yet inexperienced in the ways of the world and love. In steps Drake LeVeq, if the beloved New Orleans LeVeqs. Not only does he save her, but arranges for her shelter, a school, and cover from her father. Love it!

I thoroughly enjoyed Alibis & Angels, book 3 of the Sister Lou Mystery Series by Olivia Matthews. I was given an Advance Reader Copy in exchange for an honest review, and it was my pleasure.This mystery had me totally engrossed and puzzled all the way to the revelation at the end. And that, in my opinion, is the hallmark of a good mystery. Author Olivia Matthews achieved that magnificently. I recommend this book.

Good story and characters. But it was overshadowed by the terrible editing (if any was done). Very disappointed, and can only hope the authors utilizes a good editor for her future books.

An amazing realistic women's fiction book that took me through the emotional upheavals of relationships right along with the four female main characters. Author Chelle Ramsey has a special gift for writing stories that happen daily, and developing main characters who make wrong choices in life, suffer the consequences, and find restoration in Christ brings a renewed and better, more fulfilled life. Great book!
