Shit is gettin real!

Good so far, a bit cliché in some respects, but feeling the mystery unfold and enjoying the John Wick vibes along with a long kiss good night

The darkest of the series so far. It’s one of those things you really hope never to see, but realize this could be a potential for our future.

A swashbuckling tail very similar to Pirates of the Caribbean as set in the Middle East with a John Wick female lead who’s delivering great adventure

Things are definitely unfolding quite nicely. The start of the story lays a foundation for some interesting developments as the book is coming along. Whoever main character found in a precarious position.

More of a sprawling narrative with some crazy ideas.. a bit slow, but the concept is interesting

Slow finish to a banger of a series. Let’s hope it picks up a bit…

Def more mystery and thriller than I was expecting. Not bad overall.. a lot of development and character building.

Already feels so relevant to today. With ai and all the fake shit out there, this book is looking into the disappearance of an individual and the individuals hiding in dark corners co trolling the narratives with their unique branding of ai tech..

Following nice, but slow, tot he last book that was filled with insanity:..

Starting off with murder and destitution. Lost protagonist trying to find their way back to normalcy amongst mysterious murders with witchcraft/voodoo magik implications.

Holy hell… missed some of the stuff that happened in morning star.. it’s needed for this book.

One of those books that had some insane story, but moves super slow. Not like his other books, this one is a little more intellectual

Very similar to a court of mist and fury.. calling gets right into it though and throws the readers into a battle that been waging… kingfisher is very similar to Rhys but compelling enough to let me just listen. Loving the twist on ‘cursed fae’ and looking forward to seeing where this book is going.

Re reading it can catching so much more. The darker for shadowing and characters that litter this book leave you with a sense of yearning for the next pages.

Welcome back to the red rising world. This is at once darker and so bring at the same time. Decisions that were made in MorningStar are being reflected in iron gold. This book is definitely highlighting. The growth Pierce Brown has established during his brief interlude between morning star and irony gold truly shines here.

The book is building into intensity, not unlike his other books… this one seems to be more superficial in story, but still enjoyable.

Dark and richly gruesome. Gothic horror, morally grey characters filled with dark pasts set to task with a crusade of both demons on the outside as well as the inside.
