A bit hard to get into tbh…

Je commence à m’essouffler dans ma lecture. Le livre est intéressant mais incroyablement lent, il ne tient pas vraiment en haleine. Je lui donne encore une petite chance

Le rythme est assez lent mais ça continue d’être intéressant…

J’ai l’impression d’avancer très lentement vue la taille du livre, mais pour l’instant j’adore. J’aime l’environnement, les personnages, c’est intriguant, il y’a de la tension entre les personnages principaux avec pourtant un lien qui semble impossible. Je suis vraiment curieuse de voir où ça ira

Le début est sympa, mais l’écriture est lourde. Pour un sujet sensé être léger le ton est châtié et pas naturel. Je ne sais pas si c’est l’écrivaine ou l’éditeur mais le ton ne colle pas vraiment avec l’historie

Lots of kinky sex, including group sex. But omg the dialogues are so cheesy 😅 it’s hard to take them seriously

This book would be so cute if it wasn’t so annoying.

A few annoying things - nickname “songbird” is really not sexy, how he says “my pretty assistant” is a bit icky, how she keeps saying “bossy”
I don’t love the trope of having sex with your boss / employee and still going back and forth on the idea of a relationship, without the power dynamic being fully acknowledged
This is on track to get a 3.5 from me

This is torture - why did they break up and why are they not back together ?? 😅 I’m not patient, but I’ll make it to the end

There js too mush suspense in this book 😅
I’m like : why did they break up? Why did they break up! why did they break up?
And then : what happened? what happened? what happened?

I’m not a fan of stories where there seems to be a big understanding and one conversation could fix everything.

One of the best books I’ve read this year, simply amazing

Is it me or is this book quite boring? No idea what could happen in the 2/3 to remaining of this book…
There is no tension or chemistry. Giving it a couple more chapters

I’m actually reading this book again, just after finishing it 🙈 - I loved it so much, I just want to capture all the details of the story, dialogues, characters

I love Orla’s character. Not a fan of Finlay’s. I can’t put my finger on it. Perhaps he lacks depth, perhaps it’s his savior’s attitude, and him not following Orla’s pace at all..

Loving it so far, except Zach is a bit stupid 🤣
