Fascinating insight into a complex family dynamic. This is really interesting to read. I’ve been a great fan of Sarah Churchill’s poetry since I read it in the 70s.

I read a sample but didn’t progress to buying the whole book. Fancied a change of genre.

Strange, I thought about leaving this book for another. However, weirdly, I’m getting drawn in to the story. It’s of another place and time but I want to know what happens to this strange group of dramatist personae. I’ll read on...

I’m really enjoying this book. Slow progress because I’m reading other books as well. I keep returning though. Riveting plot.

Seems very good, I wasn’t as sure about the last one. Loved it but it didn’t hold my attention so much. This one is looking promising.

Another gripping tale, full of history and factually well-researched. I can't wait to fond out the answer to this imaginative plot.

Fascinating story with well-crafted characters and a plot that makes me just want to race through to find 'who dunnit'. All set in a well-researched historical setting.

At first I found this book rather depressing but it becomes heartwarming and mysterious and has a perceptively kind view of the main characters. I'm getting more and more hooked!

It's a bit hackneyed. Some of the events seem to be unproven. A bit sensationalist, but an entertaining filler.......between something more interesting.
