This far into the book, and Richard is still not on his way to The Palace of the Prophets. WHICH IS THE ONLY THING NECESSARY TO FORWARD THE GODDAMNED PLOT! I do not give a single, solitary shit about the nebulous love story between Richard and Kahlan, because I know that it will collapse under even the lightest of weight. Because Terry Goodkind is a shitty writer who, after over 1000 pages, hasn't advanced it at all.

Fire two people who supposedly have faith in and love each other deeply, Kahlan and Richard sure are driven to despair over each other really easily.
