Going to go ahead and cut it off here. 7 chapters in and I find myself not being able to focus on the story. Just not for me and it bites because I wanted so badly to like it. Hopefully the other book i own by this author is a little more appealing!

So far, I've made it to chapter 7 and have just noticed I have no idea what's going on in this story besides the main character is her grandmother's caretaker and theres a book club going on. I do hope the story picks up sooner rather than later. I'd hate to not finish this one. I have high hopes.

Im reading this from a mother's perspective and I can relate to the devastation she felt/feels. Shes literally losing her child to something so horrific. She has since accepted he had a part in it. I too wouldn't know what to do or what to think.

This book was absolutely brilliant!
