This book has been waiting for me to pick it up for months now. I might try to finish it although I'm finding it very boring. Too bad I purchased the first three as a bundle (I think, I don't remember, but I have the third one on my Kindle as well) so I'll have to read another one from this series that I'm definitely not continuing.

I'd like to add a new shelf called "Currently reading but on the brink of DNF the hell out of it".

I'm having such an amazing taste in books lately... /sarcasm

I get really mad at bad books.

So this book was less than two bucks and now I learn that it includes two extra books as a bonus material. Now I kinda feel bad for giving it a bad review and not liking it. Maybe I'll like the other two?

There was a time when I would read something other than romance novels. I don't know what happened to that.

Tomorrow, finally, High Voltage by Karen Marie Moning will move from my "Want to Read" list to my "Currently Reading" list. Are pre-ordered books sent to your Kindle at midnight? Because if that's the case I might not sleep at all tonight. I can't wait!

Dear writers, stop using rape as a plot instrument. You're all using it so much and so lightly that you're making it look like a normal thing and it's not a normal thing, it's an abomination, an aberration, not a damn tool for you to thicken the plot. If you can't come up with a way to make your character "deeper" (FYI, growth doesn't always have to come from a trauma) then do the world a favor and stop writing.

I'm pretty pissed right now at the whole "Who is the God behind it all? Who could that be?" Like it hasn't been obvious for the past 104518234 pages. So at this point in the book I'm thinking that either all the characters are inherently stupid or the writer thinks we are. I'm this close to go all "Bastian" and start yelling the name at the pages like my life depends on it. My sanity does.

I want to quit reading this book, it's the most boring and self-righteous thing I've read, well, ever!
