Rereading one for my favourites for two reasons:
1. I've bought the book of short stories based on this universe and wanted to re-read the original story again.
2. I am writing my first draft of a new book and need something I can pause knowing what happens next.

Remembering things as I reread this book:
1. The besmirching of the name of Harvey. I wasn't a Harvey when I first read the book. I claim no relation to this terrible person.
2. I am an adult. Not just an adult, an older adult. I need to learn to stop looking for the adultier adult. In an emergency I may be the person others turn to.

This book is not for the faint of heart. I'm grateful for the trigger warning at the beginning. Otherwise, I might be the one to run away and never find out how it ends.

Great series, really enjoying the characters and their development. Haven't paused to pick up something else yet.

I started the Audible version of the book after thoroughly enjoying Iron Gold.
When I reached Lysander's first chapter the narrator changed :(
Now, I understand it's not always possible to get the same cast when on a publishing deadline.
But if you change narrators - please, for the love of howlers - have them pronounce the character names the same way. It's Cassius, not Cassus.
Switching to the paperback or ebook.

I've always wanted to read this book but, like many others, it has always remained on my TBR list. However, thanks to a friend, I just discovered Dracula Daily. Since the book is written like a diary over days, this free subscription emails you each day as though the story was live action - starting May 3rd and ending November 7th.

Ahhh, remember the days when 5 pounds could buy 6 pints and still have change left over? Elements of this story have aged but the book itself is still brilliant. Been on my TBR for a while now. Glad hubby gave me the push.

I know this comes with warnings about adult content - but 24 Hours almost broke me.

This book is keeping me up at night. I need to find out what happens - what makes everything go so terribly wrong.

Struggling to get into this book. This I need to put it aside and try again later.
