I forgot how dense some of the prose was in this.

The third Talisman book comes out in a few weeks so I'm due for a reread. Hopefully one of the local used bookstores has Black House.

Here's something I didn't catch 30 years ago - Emmanuel Goldstein, the leader of the opposition, is the name Matthew Lillard's character gives in the movie Hackers.

My wife is listening to this in the car and brought me a copy from the used bookstore so I guess I'm doing this. It's been about 30 years for me.

Uneven but there are some really cool moments in this so far.

I haven't made much time for reading lately but I need to buckle down and finish this. I'm not as motivated since Gerry Conway left the book and Len Wein is the writer, although it's not like there's been a noticeable drop in quality or anything.
