This is my 2nd attempt to start this book. It feels like a bad fan fiction of Dexter. I felt as if this woman is every bad stereotype of a vixen I can’t even buy it was written by a woman. This feels so contrived . Up until today Twilight was the worst written book I’ve ever read but congrats! This girls a killer has now won that award. I’ll update if I finish this.

I am thinking of abandoning this for another time...Just too experimental and not really fulfilling just kind of bores me honestly...

guilty pleasure

This is perhaps the weirdest book I have ever read...That is saying a lot!

So far I am engaged but, confused by this book...

great read very interesting a bit slow in the middle.

I was super enthralled until chapter 72...then ugh whatever. I am going to go ahead and finish it but only because I am so close could really care less right now.

I am about 30% done with this book according to my Kindle. I felt compelled to read it as all my friends have recommended it. So far I am on Chapter 26 and the scene is really still be set for the daughters quest. I am thoroughly enjoying it. As the writing is rich and detailed.

I keep taking breaks from this book despite the wonderful way in which it is written and despite being a period piece it is quite contemporary. Ahh I need to buckle down and finish it.
