Love that every chapter is written from the perspective of a different character. You never know what is going to happen next.

Very intriguing. The whole concept of the carpet makers is unique and I'm curious to learn more about them, their work, and their purpose. And who or what is the chancelor? Does he really exist? Doubting him or his existance seems to be lethal. I'm really not sure yet where the story is going. So far, we aren't staying with any of the characters long and there are pretty big time jumps.

Something is going on here. Do Luke, Theo, and the Doctor know each other or is there something they aren't telling Elenore? Something other than the haunting feels weird.
