Great beginning.

Here in San Diego, the wait for this novel on the application, Libby, is incredible: I am 847th in line for the ENGLISH language version.
I checked out the physical copy of the Spanish language book and, although it is slow going, it is highly rewarding reading science in Spanish.
I was excited to read 9.8 meters per second in Spanish & have a nice, nerdy flashback to h.s. Physics!

Loved the female downed pilot segment and the one with the mobilization of the American war machine.

Some of the accents are distracting and annoying: African, Cuban, Chinese, Japanese.
