I’m enjoying this queer romance/mystery with a shifter twist so far. The plot is interesting and the guys are sweet. I got this as an ARC.

I’m mostly enjoying it but I really don’t quite understand the realm building.

I’ve downloaded books 2-4 already! This is another tightly written series and I can’t wait to see where it goes.

There’s finally some lesbians who’ve arrived and where are they placed to work? The kitchen. Fmal. All of the two women prior to this are mothers and pack cooks.

We’re about to get to the exceptional mating pregnancy which is the only reason I’m sticking with this book. I’m skipping the numerous sex scenes.

This book… erm.

I want to love it. The premise is incredible- gay shifters, True Elders, new packs. It has it all. However, the writer does tend to ‘tell, not show’ throughout which is very frustrating. There’s also been three points that I’ve shouted out loud about. Two were sex related and the third was about how male shifters can produce pups. I… I’m trying to finish it.

Honestly? I’m struggling with this book. I’m struggling as

I can’t work out how old KC is supposed to be.
One male MC is stalking & sexually harassing & assaulting her & she’s finding him sexy.
Another one is being a complete arse to her & again, she’s finding this attractive.
A third one is also being a dick & again, ‘he’s hot’.

I just… I don’t know.

I tried for as long as I could with this book but honestly, the fact that the male character keeps making mistakes and violating the female characters consent, eventually got too much.

this book is the second in this series and follows Nina's journey.

Argh. I really want to like this book. I really really do but I just can’t stick with it. It’s very annoying.

It’s good. At times it feels like it’s being dragged out but I’m eager to see how it’s resolved.

ooooh it's all happening! I really do enjoy this series. The Crew that Jessie now has around her are quite something.

God, Roan captures grief so well. Grief, self hatred and pain fear of being yourself, so so well. I've cried with each book so far.

This is brilliant. It has a Buffy feel about it. Young girl chosen to be The One from all the people in the world, who has to save it. I’m enjoying the characters and getting Lana back together with her friends. I’m almost done and can’t wait to download the next one.
