Reading the Dutch version, and really interesting 👍

At this point, I'm just speed reading for the small interesting plot, as the love part of the story makes me cringe hard 😬

Either Catherine has Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) or schizophrenia 🤔
This classic is less entertaining than Frankenstein. The sentences are structured more erratically (that's the feeling I have when I read this), and I'm struggling half the time with what and who they are referring to.

This book speaks to my soul, I wish I read it sooner in life. But I'm sure I would not have appreciated it the same level as now.

I do not like Gwyn and leaning towards dnf this book. Also, Wells is as interesting as a book with white pages.

This book started boring but is becoming a solid 5 star. Such nice and important life lessons are discussed but not preached 💫

I'm liking the story more and more, even though it does take some strange leaps of logic 🤔

It becomes better the longer you read

I'm going to DNF this book. It's not helpful at all. The book sounds like it is a collection of stories of a rich housewife who is a helicopter mom and has only superficial friends... What she is telling in the book is basically advise found under every IATA or AIO video on YouTube. Just go watch those, free advice (which is probably more practical), and more entertaining

I started listening to this because it was trending and seemed interesting... I was so wrong. I don't know if it is because I'm listening to the Dutch version on spotify (which I suspect is an AI voice), but this book has no scientific evidence whatsoever in it. It is purely based on 'experiences' of a helicopter parent that finally learned to let go... I'm stunned this got as popular as it did.

It has suspense and is easy to follow, but I would not say it is 'horror'.

Audio book is ok, and short qua time. Though I can already guess the ending
