My first J.M. book. The story line is interesting. It’s basically like getting married and having a counselor at the ready if anything needs addressing. You receive interest free loans on a more luxurious lifestyles. You sign a contract giving the government certain liberties where your marriage, values, and behaviors, are concerned. This story has a 1984 (LOVED) vibe to it, with a modern storyline.

Had this book been half as long, I would have burned through it. The story is great but the pace is like tapping molasses from the tree. Lennox and her friends might have committed a crime. The story is repetitive and slow to the point. However, the book was very good once I got 3/4 of the way through it.

Oh. For. The. Love…
Nothing happens in this book. An actress is cyber stalking her ex & his new family while “Marker Man” stalks her. There is a weird love triangle that is annoying and makes zero sense. The only part of the story that is even slightly interesting focuses on two girls becoming friends.
