I had a hard time rating this book. I did not like the characters for most of the book. As a trained therapist, I found X frustrating and spent a lot of time trying to diagnose Martha. I did appreciate the mental illness aspect—coping with mental illness as an individual and as someone who loves that individual.

I really enjoyed the dark, twisty begging of this story. The stage was set and then it fizzled out. There was no resolution and it seemed to end in the same way it began but with more characters.
